Volunteers

We are holding some fantastic events in the Jervis Bay area in 2020 which will be a great opportunity not only for the competitors but for the whole communities surrounding the events. There is a tremendous amount of work that goes into the organization and volunteers and marshals are a crucial element to the success of the day.

Being part of the volunteer team can involve route marshalling, manning aid stations, pre and post-race setup… and everything in between! In addition to this, your encouragement and enthusiasm to both the athletes and the team are invaluable! It’s a great personal reward for you and makes a huge difference to the athletes on the day.

For students studying event management, this is also a great opportunity to see first hand how an international sporting event is run.
